KURTMED MEDICAL DISTRIBUTION INC., is a Manila based corporation established in 2015 to cater to the growing demand of generic medicine utilization by local government units all over the country. It is the sister company of a leading medical gas manufacturer and distributor with over 40 years of experience in both the private and government sector. The main vision is to develop its current position in the medical gas industry and continue the growth thru KURTMED.
The management was able to collaborate with the biggest and most esteemed pharmaceutical companies in the country. In 2016, the company was able to get its License to Operate as a Medical Device Importer from the FDA, giving the company more products to offer its current clientele of LGUs and slowly penetrate the private hospital sector.
Offering very competitive prices, the company has grown to supply LGUs in the Northern Luzon region as well as maintaining its foothold on its Metro Manila LGUs. The company prides itself on its very effective distribution strategy offering a wide array of branded and generic medicines and world-class medical devices from numerous importers and manufacturers all over the country.
In 2017, KURTMED was able to obtain its s4 License from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). The company can now distribute dangerous drugs and anesthesia medicines to both LGUs and Private Hospitals with issued s3 licenses.
Currently, KURTMED supplies PDEA medicines to one of the biggest Metro Manila LGUs for its anesthesia medicines. The dynamic of KURTMED is a result of the positioning it currently holds in the Medical Industry and it aids in achieving its major goals of providing effective, competitively priced products, with a high level of customer satisfaction and on-time delivery to its growing clientele.
